About Us
David Kienholz
Licensed in Montrose in 1980, David has been a top-producing real estate broker every year since then. Along with selling thousands of residences in the Montrose area, David has worked with developers in acquisition, design, government approval, and marketing of many area subdivisions, including Solar Hills, Cobble Creek, Fox Hills, Fox Meadows, American Village, Pearl Crest, Quail Creek Ranch and Brown Ranch, as well as the commercial subdivisions that today contain Bank of Colorado, RE/MAX Alpine View, Camp Robber, McDonald's, Quality Inn, and Montrose Ford.
David has also sold and resold many building in the Historic Montrose Downtown Core. His commercial transactions have involved McDonald's, Wendy's, Denny's, KFC, Walgreens, Pepsi, and Coors/Miller to name a few.
David has given his time and resources to support and serve the Montrose community. He was an original member of the organizational committee to bring Hospice (HopeWest) to the Uncompahgre Valley. He was also a committee member of a group of local citizens that raised around $600,000 to facilitate the building of the Lloyd McMillian Gymnasium at MHS. He spent 6 years on the City of Montrose Planning Commission, was a board member of Community Options, ABC board member and president, and is a current board member of the Tri-County Water Conservancy District. He has sponsored and organized golf tournaments to benefit Hospice, Boys & Girls Club, Partners, and more.
David spent 37 years as a real estate broker/owner. He is married and they have one son.
Chris Cooper
Chris has lived in Montrose for 32 years, where he worked in commercial and residential construction all over the Western Slope for 15 years, giving him firsthand knowledge of the area. He has worked at the Ute Indian Museum for the past four years -- it was there he met David through a mutual connection and went back into the real estate industry, having gone to real estate school after high school. He believes real estate can make an impact on the Montrose area through affordable housing and building community. Chris is a certified pesticide applicator and certified gardener, and he enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and anything outdoors.
